I am an interdisciplinary artist, BFA graduate and nature junkie native to Austin, Texas. I have been making art since I could first hold a pencil, but have developed my illustrative style in the last decade, finding a love in making art en plein air. My work consists of traditional painting including watercolor and oil, as I enjoy capturing natural landscapes, cultural objects and heritage sites inspired by my travels. Additionally, I am a photographer, crafter, and illustrator of comics, inspired by 1950's style American animation. I love creating anthropomorphic friends and crafts that are all things nature! Outside of my work, I aspire to continue exploring our beautiful earth, connecting with humans across the globe, and studying our past to build a better future. For 8 months in 2023, I backpacked through 20 countries with a few clothes, two pairs of shoes, some art supplies, and a camera as I explored cultures and learned languages firsthand. These travels have changed my life, and are the muse for much of my work now.
My fine art is available to view and purchase here.
